• For a bachelor’s degree in Denmark, completion of +2 (or equivalent) or a related Diploma program is required
• For Master’s degree in Denmark, completion of Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is required

If you’re applying to study in Denmark from Nepal, securing a Denmark student visa is crucial. Here’s a simple guide on how to apply:

Step 1: Create Your Case Order ID
Visit the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI) website to create your case order ID. Select ‘Higher Education’ and fill in your personal details. You’ll receive a case order number that will be required for your application.

Step 2: Pay the Visa Application Fee
Pay the visa application fee of 1,890 DKK (approximately 253.95 EUR). This fee must be paid for your application to be processed. 

Step 3: Gather Required Documents
Collect all necessary documents, such as your acceptance letter, proof of financial support, and any other required paperwork. Make sure they are in digital format if you are applying online. The missing documents can delay your application so you have to be very careful about it.

Step 4: Complete the Application Form
Fill out the application form either online or on paper.

Step 5: Submit Your Application
If you applied online, you can simply submit your application to SIRI by clicking the submit button at the end. If you chose the paper medium, submit your application to a Danish diplomatic mission or a nearest visa application center. 

Step 6: Register Your Biometrics
Register your biometrics including a photo at a Danish diplomatic mission or SIRI office. If you applied online, complete your biometrics procedure within 14 days of submission; failing to do so may result in your application being rejected.

Step 7: Wait for the Decision
Processing your application typically takes about two months (60 days). You’ll receive updates via email or SMS regarding your status. Once approved, you’re ready to travel to Denmark and start your studies!
